Newsflash

Every year  , we at Wide Bay Podiatry set goals ,  2009 it was extending the Hervey Bay Practice , adding an extra 30 sq metres to our building , 2008 it was extending the Maryborough practice to include an extra six consult rooms , for  use by visiting Specialists.

and 2010 is going to be , expanding Wide Bay Podiatry the business.

the retail sector will enable people to come and buy aids that will benefit their foot care needs

We find every year  research aims , 2009 was the pre school child. and 2008 it  titled  what is a normal foot?  which was an unbiased (as much as we could) study of the normal Hervey Bay foot.

the team here at Wide Bay Podiatry are not ones to stand still. we look forward to a wonderful and exciting 2010 and we hope you do to .

Finally the extensions in Hervey Bay are finished , there are four consult rooms , and enlarged reception ,  and as Lynette ordered , a coffee machine.

we are excited as we now have  the Chiropractor , Myles Carroll back in the Bay , and here  at Wide Bay Podiatry.

What does Wide Bay Podiatry do?

Wide Bay Podiatry  is a general Podiatry practice ,that services the whole family  from childhood gait issues, sports injuries , biomechanics, computerised gait analysis, to ingrown toenails, and general Podiatry .

 

We deal with Diabetic, vascular and neuropathic testings and care.

Arthritic care , including insole and shoe modifications.

 

Wide Bay Podiatry has a  retail section , where padding , insoles, and the popular Dr Comfort Shoes can be purchased to the Public.

EPC, Enhanced Primary Care Plans.

This is a Medicare inspired package which allows those with Chronic conditions to recieve a maximuim of five  consultations to see a variety of allied health specialists, the referral is  given by your General Practitioner who assesses  your eligability.  This referral lasts for twelve months from the date of the referral and also can only be used a maximuim of five times per calendar year. 

 

 

DVA, Department of Veterans Affairs, 

for those who have a Gold Card with DVA , this covers you  for all  podiatry services , and products  if you have the health requirements , the referral is  given by your General practitioner, these referrals last for twelve months. 

 

Wide Bay Podiatry has Hicaps 

Hicaps  enables you to claim your Private Health rebate, straight away , then you are only to pay the gap fee, this enables you to claim on the spot and enjoy the benefits of your private health .
